Tuscany Part 1- The countryside

Growing up, I visited southern Italy almost every summer to spend time with family but we never really ventured north of Rome on all these trips. I was fortunate enough to spend a week in Tuscany with my wife, exploring a part of Italy that I haven’t been able to visit before and it was like a dream. We logged many, many miles (or kilometers for you Europeans) on our tiny rental car, weaving through the green hills of the countryside just to reach some of the amazing vistas- and it was worth every second.

Here’s part 1 of our week in Tuscany featuring shots of the landscapes of the Val D’Orcia region along with some shots from one of the small farms we visited. I guess sometimes the grass is actually greener on the otherside…
