When we first spoke with Emma & Ian about their Bushwick wedding at The Well in Brooklyn, we knew it was going to be a damn good time. We had plenty of laughs with them both throughout the course of the day (we even found a McChicken sandwich in a drawer in the hotel room-did you wind up eating it, Emma?).
The Bushwick graffiti provided the perfect backdrop for Emma & Ian’s portraits and bridal party photos. Being cat lovers, it was only fitting that they had their first look in front of a giant cat mural. The back patio of The Well was the ideal setting for their emotional Bushwick wedding ceremony lots of tears and laughs were had by everyone in attendance.
Ian and Emma busted out some awesome dance moves when the party started to get crazy (our favorite part). Opting for donuts from Dun-well Doughnuts instead of a wedding cake was a swap definitely worth making!
We love when we see couples who do not stress about their wedding and just enjoy the time with family and friends. Their wedding was able to capture the essence of Brooklyn- these two are so in love and let the day flow with ease, living every minute to the fullest. We think Biggie said it best with this line- “spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way”.
