When I first met Nicole & Mark, it was like meeting up with some old friends you haven’t seen in a while. Funny enough, after speaking for a bit we figured out that Mark grew up about two blocks away from me and Nicole just a few minutes further. When they told me they were having a George Weir Barn wedding with lots of rustic details (and a Mister Softee truck!), I was definitely game to capture their day.
George Weir Barn is one of Long Island’s best venues for a rustic wedding- there’s something special about the feel of being in a wood structure that is a few hundred years old. Pair that with a couple of high school sweethearts like Nicole & Mark and you’ve got a formula for an amazing wedding day. All of the vintage decorations and details were put together by the bride, groom, family and friends- pretty damn impressive if I do say so myself.
